1. Who we are
ProofMyFlight (proofmyflight.com) is edited by Nino Fournet (EI) (sole trader, France — SIREN 999 054 430), the data controller for the information described here. Contact: support@proofmyflight.com.
2. What we collect
Only what an airline reservation requires: the passenger's first and last name, gender (as used by airline booking systems), your email address, and your route and dates. We do not ask for passport numbers. Payment details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
To perform our contract with you (create, deliver and support your reservation), to meet our legal obligations (accounting), and for our legitimate interest in preventing fraud.
4. What we do with it
- Create your flight reservation with our reservation provider (they receive the passenger details needed for the booking).
- Email you your reservation document and answer your support requests.
- Keep minimal order records (route, dates, order references) for accounting and fraud prevention.
5. How long we keep it
We keep passenger details only as long as needed to provide the service, then delete them. Order and accounting records are kept for the period required by law, after which they are deleted.
6. Who we share it with
Stripe (payment processing), our flight reservation provider (booking creation), and our hosting provider (EU-based servers). Each processes only the data required for its role. We never sell or rent your data.
7. What we never do
- Sell or rent your data to anyone.
- Send you marketing emails you did not ask for.
- Keep your passenger details longer than needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, or object to the processing of your data at any time: support@proofmyflight.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
9. Cookies
We use third-party cookies from Google and Microsoft, and only for measurement: Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (UET) tell us how many visitors find us and place an order, and Microsoft Clarity — which Microsoft loads together with its advertising tag — produces anonymous statistics on how the site is used. They are set only after you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit; if you decline, none are written. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of any page. Strictly necessary cookies (your language choice, your basket, payment security) do not require consent and stay active.
